The Veenmolen is the only grain mill in De Ronde Venen and is owned by the Utrechtse Molens Foundation. To preserve this unique mill for future generations, proper maintenance and regular operation are essential. An enthusiastic team of volunteer millers is passionately committed to this.

To keep the centuries-old milling craft alive, the Guild of Volunteer Millers was founded in the 1960s. Thanks to this guild, knowledge is passed on and craftsmanship is preserved.

The mill is open every Saturday from 10:00 AM to 4:00 PM and operates when there's sufficient wind. The mill shop offers a variety of flour products, both available for immediate purchase and to order.
